Course Objective:
This course builds on earlier entrepreneurship training and prepares learners for the pre-launch phase of starting a real business. It focuses on refining ideas, market validation, legal basics, digital presence, and investor communication.
In today’s fast-changing world, it is not enough for young people to dream about starting a business. They need practical tools and skills to turn ideas into reality. This Grade 11 Life Skills course, Entrepreneurship & Self-Management, provides learners with the knowledge required to transform concepts into viable business opportunities.
Through five carefully designed modules, learners refine their ideas, identify unique value propositions, and research potential markets to understand customer needs. They gain foundational knowledge of legal requirements, business structures, and basic financial management. The course also emphasizes the importance of creating a strong social media presence to attract and engage target audiences effectively.
Learners are guided to develop professional pitches and persuasive presentations that communicate their ideas clearly. This project-based approach ensures practical experience in producing a real pitch deck and a detailed customer profile. By completing hands-on tasks, learners strengthen critical decision-making, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Additionally, communication skills are developed through collaborative work, presentations, and peer feedback. By the end of the course, learners are prepared not only to launch a business but also to approach challenges creatively, confidently, and strategically in any entrepreneurial environment.
